Happy Monday and Memorial Day MMT Family. I have started, hesitated, canceled, started again and procrastinated writing this at least a dozen times over the past few months. I wasn’t certain that I wanted to stop musicmoviesthoughts.com completely but I’m also pretty certain I cannot maintain this site on a regular basis.
There are several factors contributing to this decision, including chronic illness, self-care, the amount it costs to run versus the amount made from the site, and a lack of motivation and need to soothe my creative nature to its fullest.
I don’t know if I will continue to write independently, in addition to other projects I work, but I will be sure to keep everyone who is still subscribed updated and in the loop.
I will post on this site at my leisure through the end of 2023 and will share any giveaways that catch my eye. I’m also working on a final advance screening event with several loyal subscribers – and will try to make it a good one!
Some of you have been riding with me since day one and I sincerely thank each and every person who has read and shared posts, sent me notes of encouragement (you know who you are), attended events or simply offered a kind word when you caught me out and about.
I won’t say goodbye, but “Until next thought.”

I know I don’t know you personally, but I have appreciated all you have done for the film community, especially with chronic illness. You are a strong woman and have made a difference in many people’s lives. Prayers for peace and happiness in your future endeavors. We will miss you.
