Out now on Digital, DVD and Blu-Ray is the action-thriller BEAST starring Idris Elba. With a running time of one hour and 33 minutes, “Beast” accomplishes in thrills and excitement what it may lack in strong dialogue and development.
But what I most Ioved about the film was its strong advocacy for wildlife and anti-poaching – themes that are driven home quite well.
All in all, I would certainly add “Beast” to the streaming queue for the enjoyment factor and yes Elba does physically fight a CGI lion and it totally works! I rate this 3 out of 5 beats on the MMTrometer.
