MMT Recommends: ATTICA streaming free through Black History Month (with an MMT update)

Happy Sunday MMT Fam! I know I’ve been a bit absent the first couple of weeks into this new year. For those who follow @musicfilmdiva on Twitter and Instagram, you’ve been able to see a little bit of what I’ve been up to in relation to film and have been hipped to some cool recommendations – one of which is Showtime’s free streaming of the hit documentary ATTICA on Sho.com and YouTube in time for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday through Black History Month.

You can click the hyperlinks above to view the film, and click here to watch the AAFCA roundtable I participated in last Fall featuring “Attica” directors Stanley Nelson and Traci A. Curry.

I’m asking each subscriber to please keep my endeavors and I in your prayers, send positive energy and/or meditate with me in mind – and for those who are able, please consider a small donation (link on bottom of each MMT page).

I love musicmoviesthoughts.com and all of the passion expressed within it. But the challenges of maintaining a daily life, especially during a pandemic and with a chronic illness, while attempting to remain creative can sometimes become overwhelming.

Yet, I’m very thankful for everyone that sends encouraging messages and those that display their support. And I’m extremely grateful for the opportunities that are still presenting themselves, even with the physical challenges I may be experiencing – Lord, be an email inbox filter! 🙂

Sending out positive energy and gratitude to everyone who reads this.

Until next thought, Thomasena
