- NBCUniversal is offering a new, FREE streaming service called Peacock – which is home to thousands of hours of premium content, including curated channels from our friends over at FilmRise. The streaming carrier boasts hundreds of movies, along with thousands of episodes of binge-worthy TV shows, sports, news, and pop culture. Just a quick browse of it’s offerings and I noted several faves – including Spike Lee’s classic “Do The Right Thing,” the series “Celia” about the late Afro-Cuban legendary songstress Celia Cruz, and “I Am Ali” about the late, iconic heavyweight boxing champ Muhammad Ali. There’s something for everyone – from news shows and daytime & nighttime talk shows, to a kid’s corner with family friendly options and soap operas for those who love them. And there’s a premium option that unlocks full seasons of shows, live sports and more for $4.99 a month (there’s a 7-day free trial). Get additional info at the official website peacocktv.com.
- Live Nation is helping you get your music fix with its #LiveFromHome recommendations featuring live albums and curated playlists from many of your favorite artists. You can click here to go to the official website and sign up for daily livestreams from artists around the globe.
