Happy Saturday MMT Fam! We’re giving away passes to screen the upcoming Universal film A DOG’S PURPOSE featuring an all-star cast, with Josh Gad voicing the furry main character. The advanced screening will take place on Wednesday, January 11.
Based on the beloved bestselling novel by W. Bruce Cameron, A Dog’s Purpose, from director Lasse Hallström (The Cider House Rules, Dear John, The 100-Foot Journey), shares the soulful and surprising story of one devoted dog who finds the meaning of his own existence through the lives of the humans he teaches to laugh and love. The family film told from the dog’s perspective also stars Britt Robertson, KJ Apa, John Ortiz, Juliet Rylance, Luke Kirby, Peggy Lipton, Pooch Hall and Dennis Quaid.
To try your luck at a pass, you must be a subscriber of this website and send an email to contests@musicmoviesthoughts.com with the subject line “Purpose” and your full name in the body. Thirty winners will be selected at random and notified by Tuesday, January 10. And remember you’ll double your chances if you follow us on Facebook!

It does look like a feel good film, but also a tear jerker maybe. And with the recent loss of a beloved pet, I’m still deciding if I can handle! I’ll wait for feedback from the winners!
