Happy New Year’s Eve Eve MMT Fam! We’ve got advance screening passes for the Philly premiere of WOMEN TALKING, based on the novel by Miriam Towes, on Wednesday, January 4. This is one of my top 10 films of 2022 (list coming after award viewing completion in January) featuring an outstanding ensemble and performances.
Here’s the official synopsis: In 2010, a group of women in an isolated religious colony struggle to reconcile their faith after a series of sexual assaults happen that are committed by the colony’s men. Based off the best-selling novel by Miriam Towers.
