Happy Friday and Memorial Day weekend MMT Fam! It’s almost the official start of summer and we’re offering another post with various streaming, TV, and online suggestions that you and/or the family can enjoy from home.   • Our friends at the Philadelphia Film Society are continuing virtual streaming offerings of newly released films, including titles like “Capone” and “Inheritance,” as well as PFS’s popular, FREE Quizzo virtual series – with the next installment (May 30) featuring the throwback hit “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery.” Get additional info by clicking the hyperlinks or here to go to the PFS website.
  • Live Nation is introducing several events under its Live From Home banner. One is a FREE concert from BottleRock Presents, featuring Imagine Dragons, Muse, The Head and the Heart and more on Saturday, May 23 at 6 pm ET.   • Also happening on Saturday, May 23 at 4pm ET/ 1pm PT, in celebration of the film’s 25th release anniversary, is a Twitter watch party for APOLLO 13 hosted by Astronaut Scott Kelly (@StationCDRKelly) and Universal Home Pictures Entertainment (@UniversalEnt).   • The African American Museum in Philadelphia is partnering with Scribe Video Center to present Through Their Eyes: Youth Activism Shorts on Thursday, May 28 at 7 pm – 8:30 pm. The online short film program centers on youth activism in the city of Philadelphia and provides a window into the future impact Gen-Z will have on the world⁠ – while centering youth perspectives on issues ranging from climate change, the school-to-prison pipeline crisis, and LGBTQ acceptance. This screening is presented in collaboration with Scribe Video Center and POPPYN. The event is Free with RSVP. Register by clicking here and an online viewing link will be emailed after registration.
  • Also adding in a TV stream recommendation for the upcoming week with CBS All Access’s THE GOOD FIGHT, starring Christine Baranski, Cush Jumbo, Sarah Steele, Nyambi Nyambi, Michael Boatman, Zach Grenier, John Larroquette, Audra McDonald, Delroy Lindo and Hugh Dancy in a season four recurring role. With timely and powerful storylines that highlight social injustice, the show has been a hit since season one. The streaming service recently announced the show has been renewed for season five. You can watch it on Thursdays exclusively on CBS All Access. Due to the ongoing halt in production since early March, season four will conclude with episode seven on Thursday, May 28. CBS All Access is currently available online at CBS.com, on mobile devices via the CBS app for iOS and Android, and on Roku Players, Apple TV, Chromecast, Android TV, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Fire TV, Samsung Smart TVs, Vizio Smartcast TVs, LG Smart TVs, Amazon Prime Video Channels and Apple TV channels.   • And lastly, our friends at the Wizard World Virtual Experience have released additional schedule info for May as follows: the first event features The Vampire Diaries cast members Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Michael Trevino, Steven R. McQueen, and David Aplay on Wednesday, May 27 3pm ET/ 12 PM PT. Next up are Teen Wolf standouts Crystal Reed, Holland Roden, JR Bourne, Khylin Rhambo, Linden Ashby, Shelley Hennig and Victoria Moroles, on Thursday, May 28, at 6 pm ET / 3 pm PT. And lastly the leads of Perfect Strangers, Bronson Pinchot and Mark Linn-Baker, reunite on Friday, May 29, at 3 pm ET / noon PT. The live Q&A panels are FREE for fans to view (on Twitch, Facebook, YouTube) and submit questions in text chat. Separately fans may purchase live video chat sessions, recorded videos and autographs.  During each session, the celebrities will participate in a free live moderated video Q&A, followed by one-on-one video chats, recorded videos and autographs that are available to purchase.
