MMT has acquired 50 passes to a special “ticketed” advance screening of THE LEGEND OF TARZAN at the Perelman Theater at Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, June 28th at 7:30 PM as part of Philadelphia’s 4th of July celebration – Wawa Welcome America.
The movie tells the story of Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård) years after he’s left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Margot Robbie) at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash. The movie also stars Samuel L. Jackson and Djimon Hounsou.
