HALLOWEEN opens nationwide October 19

Hey MMT Fam! I am so excited for the release of the HALLOWEEN reboot tomorrow. I have purchased a train ticket so I could travel and watch this for the first time with my sister Tomeka, who loves the original “Halloween” almost as much as I do! It is my all-time favorite scary movie, and to have the return of both Jamie Lee Curtis and the original Shape and mask wearer Nick Castle is like the perfect icing on top of a deliciously light cake for me.

In this new film we find Laurie Strode (Curtis) four decades later and traumatized as a result of her first encounter with The Shape aka Michael Myers (Castle), whom she believed would make his return and for whom she has been well prepared.

Master of horror John Carpenter executive produces and serves as creative consultant on this film, joining forces with cinema’s current leading producer of horror, Jason Blum (Get Out, Split, The Purge, Paranormal Activity).  Inspired by Carpenter’s classic, filmmakers David Gordon Green and Danny McBride crafted a story that carves a new path from the events in the landmark 1978 film, and Green also directs.

Check out some of the cast, writers and producers in the below featurettes Revisting The Original and The Face of Pure Evil courtesy of our friends at Universal Pictures.
